Graham Parry - Managing Director
The consultancy is managed by Graham Parry who has over 35 years experience in environmental issues within both local government and consultancy. He has carried out environmental work in the UK and internationally working on a variety of prestigious projects which include Channel Tunnel Rail Link, High Speed 2, M25 Widening Schemes, Stonehenge Visitor Centre, World Bank Thai Environmental Guidelines, MOD Training Areas etc. He is experienced in the co-ordination and management of multi-disciplinary teams working on environmental issues, including noise, vibration, dust, water quality, socio-economic, ecology, archaeology, lighting, landscape, microclimate and air quality. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and has given evidence at a large number of Public Inquiries, House of Lords Select Committees and Court Hearings on issues related to noise, air quality, health and lighting nuisance.
Ian Sherlock - Senior Consultant
Ian Sherlock has two key areas of experience, which are that of Project Management and Environmental Health. Ian has spent the last seven years project managing research contracts for a government department in the specialist area of environmental noise and statutory nuisance/neighbourhood noise. He also managed five of the ‘England Noise Mapping Project’ contracts, as well as research into helicopter noise, light nuisance, insect nuisance, noise from pubs and clubs, construction noise and rail/road accuracy projects (WG-AEN). Project types managed have included research, social surveys, guidance documents and review of codes of practice. He is used to managing projects from initiation to completion, including procurement phases, project meetings, working groups and project panels, as well as managing the expectations of stakeholders and other government departments.
